From the question is given that,

Temperature at the beginning i.e., at 12 noon = 10°C

Rate of change of temperature = - 2°C per hour

Then,

Temperature at 1 PM = 10 + (-2) = 10 – 2 = 8°C

Temperature at 2 PM = 8 + (-2) = 8 – 2 = 6°C

Temperature at 3 PM = 6 + (-2) = 6 – 2 = 4°C

Temperature at 4 PM = 4 + (-2) = 4 – 2 = 2°C

Temperature at 5 PM = 2 + (-2) = 2 – 2 = 0°C

Temperature at 6 PM = 0 + (-2) = 0 – 2 = -2°C

Temperature at 7 PM = -2 + (-2) = -2 -2 = -4°C

Temperature at 8 PM = -4 + (-2) = -4 – 2 = -6°C

Temperature at 9 PM = -6 + (-2) = -6 – 2 = -8°C

∴At 9 PM the temperature will be 8°C below zero

Then,

The temperature at mid-night i.e., at 12 AM

Change in temperature in 12 hours = -2°C × 12 = - 24°C

So, at midnight temperature will be = 10 + (-24)

= - 14°C

So, at midnight temperature will be 14°C below 0.

amm1812

Answer:

c. capital goods and durable consumer goods.

Explanation:

Usually when we say business cycle fluctuations, we mean situations such as economic booms and then economic recession periods.

During Economic Booms capital goods and durable consumer goods which are usually expensive to purchase gets increase in demand as the consumers are buoyant economically to get such. For instance, buying houses, vehicles and expensive jewelry increases in demand during economic booms

During Economic Recessions the purchasing power of citizens reduce in the economy, hence, the ability to splurge on capital goods and durable consumer goods reduce.

For others such as clothing and education, military goods and capital goods and services and non-durable consumer goods, they are usually in demand goods and some what necessities that are fairly unaffected by economic booms and recessions.

John developed a food additive that replaces processed sugars. He granted the right to use this additive to a major cereal manuf
LiRa [457]

Answer: Licensing

Explanation:

John's ingredient is his intellectual property. By giving the right regarding the usage of the ingredient to another business entity and by receiving a sales volume related royalty payment for each box sold, John is involved in a licensing agreement.

Two parties are involved in each licensing agreement: the licencor and the licencee. In this example, John is the licencor and the cereal manufacturer is the licencee. Both of the parties sign the licensing agreement, which is active over a specified amount of time.

Licensing is not to be confused with franchising. It refers to a specific business model when the franchisee operates under the brand (logo and trademark) of the franchiser, but essentially keeps its independence branch-wise. Best examples are McDonald's and KFC.

Tems11 [23]

Answer:

b.

Accounts Receivable $ 520,000

Allowance for Doubtful Accounts $19,800

Bad Debt Expense $15,300

c.

$500,200

Explanation:

Bad debt Expense will be calculated using the percentage of debt loss. The expense will be calculated using the account receivable balance.

Allowance for Doubtful Accounts is estimated as $19,800

Current Balance = $4,500 credit

a.

As Allowance for Doubtful Accounts already have credit balance of $4,500, we need to adjust the remainder to make the closing balance of Allowance for Doubtful Accounts $19,800 at the year end.

Adjustment Value = $19,800 - $4,500 = $15,300

b.

Adjusted Balances

Accounts Receivable $ 520,000

Allowance for Doubtful Accounts $19,800

Bad Debt Expense $15,300

c.

Net realizable value of Accounts receivable is the net value of Account receivable and Allowance for Doubtful Accounts.

Net realizable value of accounts receivable = $520,000 - $19,800 = $500,200
