You need to look at the x values when you calculate that.

There is a line which goes from -2 to 0. Another line at 0 to 4 and the last line is 7 to infinity.

You can combine the first two and get B) (-2, 4] and [7, infinity)

The domain of the graph is \boxed{\left({ - 2,4}\right]{\text{ and }}\left[ {7,\infty }\right)}. Option (b) is correct.

Further explanation:

Domain is a set of all the possible values of the function. The values at which the function is defined is known as domain.

Range is a set of values that the function takes.

The output values of the function are known as range and the input values on which function is defined is known as the domain of the function.

Explanation:

The x coordinates are the domain of the function and the y coordinates are the range of the function.

The included value of the function is denoted by the solid circle and in the interval it is represented by close interval “\left[{}\right]”.

The values that are not included in the function are denoted by the hollow circle and in the interval is is denoted by “\left({}\right)”.

From the graph it has been observed the -2 is not included in the domain, 4 is included in the domain as well 7 is also included in the domain.

The domain of the graph is \boxed{\left({ - 2,4}\right]{\text{ and }}\left[{7,\infty }\right)}.

Option (a) is not correct as the domain of the graph is \boxed{\left({ - 2,4}\right]{\text{ and }}\left[{7,\infty }\right)}.

Option (b) is correct.

Option (c) is not correct.

Option (d) is not correct.

75 = 4(2)^x
Valentin [98]

Answer:

4.229

Step-by-step explanation:

75 = 4(2)^x

75/4 = 2^x

Apply ln both sides

ln(75/4) = ln(2^x)

ln(75/4) = x ln(2)

x = ln(75/4) ÷ ln(2)

x = 4.22881869

Which of the following trigonometric expressions is equivalent to csc(-112°)? csc(68°)
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

Answer:

csc(-112°)=-csc(68°)

Step-by-step explanation:

Since cosec(x) and sin(x) are reciprocals of each other,

cosec(-112°)=\frac{1}{sin(-112^{\circ})}

                  =\frac{1}{-sin(112^{\circ})}

                 =\frac{1}{-sin(180^{\circ}-68^{\circ})}     (since 112=180-68)

                 =\frac{1}{-sin(68^{\circ})}              (since sin(180-x)=sinx)

                 =\frac{-1}{sin(68^{\circ})}               (since \frac{a}{-b}= \frac{-a}{b})

                 =-cosec(68°)

Find the value of c that makes x^2–6x + c a perfect square trinomial and write as a binomial squared.
denpristay [2]

Answer: 9

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

The function is x^2-6x+c

To make it a perfect square, compare it with (a-b)^2=a^2+b^2-2ab

Here,

x=a,\\-6x=-2ab\\\\\therefore b=3

So, c must be square of b i.e. 9

x^2-6x+c\Rightarrow x^2-6x+9\\\Rightarrow (x-3)^2

Therefore, value of c is 9.
