To correct the grammatical error in number 1, the sentence can be rewritten thus: " I don't watch documentaries, instead i prefer soap operas".

The sentences in number 2 appear to be grammatically correct but can be rewritten to make them easier to read and understand.

For example: "  My friend lives in a place called Aldeburgh in England and the people have a very harmonious relationship"
