ANSWER: Prithviraj Chauhan was a Rajput Indian king of the Chauhan dynasty who ruled from 1178 to 1192 CE. He was a ruler of the present day states of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi of India. He achieved various military successes against several Hindu kingdoms. He also defeated Muhammad of Ghori who was a ruler of Islamic Ghurid Dynasty.
