List two ways in which water enters the atmosphere in the water cycle
DiKsa [7]
Water enters the atmosphere through transpiration (from water of plants, giving off water vapor from pores of leaves), and evaporation (heated water changes into water vapor and rises into the atmosphere).

Remember to search the water cycle online, look at pictures, and do a bit of studying on your own. This will help you understand the water cycle to the next level.

I hope this helped!

Imagine an instance where there are two parents, and both have polydactyly, a trait which is determined in this example by a sin
just olya [345]

The probability that their next child will have polydactyly is 0.75

What is Polydactyly?

Polydactyly may be characterized as a circumstance in which an individual has more fingers or toes as compared to normal.

In humans, it occurs due to the homozygous mutants for a HOXD13, and due to which digits are joined and a condition known as Polysyndactyly occurs.

If both parents carry the genotype heterozygous for Polydactyly, i.e. Pp, the resultant offspring will have the genotypes PP, Pp, Pp, and pp. In which pp is normal, while all the three are affected due to the expression of dominant allele causing Polydactyly.

Now, according to the question, only one of the offspring possess the genotype of pp, hence the probability of their next child will have polydactyly is \frac{3}{4} = 0.75.

Therefore, the probability that their next child will have polydactyly is 0.75.
