Answer:

The mayor is very important . They provide us with safety , essentials , affordable housing and more . They even make sure all of our water is clean , and make sure trash collection and sewage is being handled properly .

Previous mayors did a good job , but there are some things I will do differently . If I will mayor I will make Redmond a better place . I will improve the city’s health , and improve our lifestyles . Not only that but , I will improve fitness , enforce the laws , and focus on education .

The first thing I will do if I will mayor will be to improve police forces . There are too many people smoking pot underage . I know many kids under 21 that smoke pot illegally . There are also people who just break the laws of the city constantly , and don’t obey the city’s rules .

If I will mayor I will make more police stations , and have officers roam neighbourhoods . One benefit from this is that the city and the stations can work together and get people on probation to help clean up the city . There is a lot of litter across the city . In general this will improve Redmond’s safety , cleanliness and make people follow the law . It will make people think twice before doing something , knowing that the laws are serious business and are everywhere.

This will also improve people neighborhood so during the day and during the night . Not only will this improve safety , and enforce the law , but it will also provide jobs for up and coming police officers . The next thing I will do as mayor will be to start construction on a new gym .

This gym will include a full size basketball court / gym , yoga and dance lessons , cardio machines , weights , and weight machines . I will do this because we currently only have a half court basketball gym.

This will be fine , but there are always yoga and dance classes going on . This means you can only go for an hour or two before getting kicked out . Then if you try to use an outside court it will always be windy , which affects your shot . The outside courts also have double rims which also messes with your shots . Then , all our gyms are too small and crowded .

There are always some people getting left out and not being able to do what they want to do . I will pay for this by public funds and taxes . The gym will pay for itself eventually , due to people paying memberships to workout there we could even hold basketball tournaments there which bring in a lot of revenue . We could summer basketball leagues to get teens out of the house and to make money .

embroidered dog apparel over the Internet. Her annual revenue is $128,000 per year, the explicit costs of her business are $4
IceJOKER [234]

Answer:

$86,000

Explanation:

The opportunity cost is an economic concept. It is the cost of the alternative foregone. Accounting profit does not take into cognizance the alternative foregone.

It only considers the explicit cost incurred in the process of making sales or generating revenue.

As such,

Accounting profit = $128,000 - $42,000

= $86,000

A growing trend to "Buy American" may encourage U.S. automakers to increase political pressure on Washington to pass legislation
Kazeer [188]

Answer:

C) a positive result from regulatory and economic environmental forces.

Explanation:

In the short run the whole economy will benefit, more American jobs will be created, consumers will probably get good cars at even lower prices, but on the long run the scenario may not be that good for everyone. If Toyota builds the plant, it will be the result of economic and political pressures, and that is a game that two can play, just ask farmers about the trade deal with China.

On the other hand, this is a type of deja vu (or been there, done that), and it ended up with GM and Chrysler bankrupt and Ford barely surviving. This types of policies were enforced in the 1980s by president Reagan and the famous "Made in the USA" by Bruce Springsteen. Back then Honda had a small factory and Toyota was starting to consider building a plant in the US, Nissan hadn't showed up yet. Fast forward a few years and the only good American vehicles are pickups, the Japanese brands wiped out the rest. The country is full of Camrys, Accords, Civics, Corollas, CRVs and Rav4s. They are great cars, too great for the American car manufacturers to compete against. Who knows, with this type of policies maybe in 10 years the only American car manufacturer left will be Tesla.

This is like playing with fire on top of a fuel truck.

In the presence of producer producer rivalry the price will tend to be ___.
vodomira [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "A": be driven to a lower price.

Explanation:

Typically, when there is a producer to producer competition, the competing companies tend to lower their product prices. This happens because of the belief consumers are mainly price driven at the moment of discriminating in choosing to buy one good over another. Though, it allows consumers to at least have a couple of sources from where to choose at a fair price.

In most transactions, the buyer is accepting the condition of the property at what point in time:_________
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

b. At the signing of the contract

Explanation:

A contract can be defined as an agreement between two or more parties (group of people) which gives rise to a mutual legal obligation or enforceable by law.

Mutual assent is a legal term which represents an agreement by both parties to a contract. When two parties to a contract both have an understanding of the parameters, terms and conditions surrounding a contract, it ultimately implies that they are in agreement; this is generally referred to as mutual assent and it is at this point they (buyer and seller) sign the contract. Therefore, mutual assent connotes agreement, acceptance and consent to a contract by both parties.

Hence, in most transactions, the buyer is accepting the condition of the property at the signing of the contract as an approval or consent to the terms and conditions.
