Answer & Explanation:

For the Facts or Characteristics column I recommend adding more to that one answer. I think your teacher will be expecting more so you can add more about what it does to a story such as, a lesson about life. You can also add a fact about it such as, every book or story has a theme to it.

Examples of themes are compassion, courage, and loyalty. Things about learning a lesson about life. So think of when something happened where you learnt a new lesson it could be something really simple too.

From your own life you may have experienced something and in the end you learned from your mistakes, it could be something as simple as listening to your parents, etc. You can also use what you wrote in the examples box for that.

Also I see you already wrote in the Definition column but maybe add more about what it does to a story. I think that looks perfect how it is though.

I hope this helps you out!!

Theme for “ forgetfulness” by billy Collins
fomenos

Answer:

Forgetfulness is a deceptively innocent-looking poem that explores the consequences of gradual memory loss. It builds up through a series of examples of things that a human might forget, from an author's name to riding a bicycle.

The basic theme is forgetfulness, plain and simple, but the basic issues are many and include that of identity versus time, tragedy versus comedy and life story versus trivial detail.
