Answer & Explanation:

For the Facts or Characteristics column I recommend adding more to that one answer. I think your teacher will be expecting more so you can add more about what it does to a story such as, a lesson about life. You can also add a fact about it such as, every book or story has a theme to it.

Examples of themes are compassion, courage, and loyalty. Things about learning a lesson about life. So think of when something happened where you learnt a new lesson it could be something really simple too.

From your own life you may have experienced something and in the end you learned from your mistakes, it could be something as simple as listening to your parents, etc. You can also use what you wrote in the examples box for that.

Also I see you already wrote in the Definition column but maybe add more about what it does to a story. I think that looks perfect how it is though.

I hope this helps you out!!

In paragraph 1, which line best describes the author's attitude toward the proud and very
Sindrei [870]

The line that best describes the author's attitude towards the proud and profane young man's death is:

But pleased God before they came half seas over to smite this young man with a grievous disease, of  which he died in a desperate manner.

From this excerpt, we can easily tell that the dead man had a very bad attitude when he was alive. He is described as haughty, cruel and without pity. He often threatened to throw poor people overboard.

With these bad characters, it is no wonder that the author did not feel any empathy at his end. From his words, it is obvious that he found the man's death a delight.
