These powers make a lot of sense: imagine if Wyoming could declare war on Canada, or Michigan could coin the Michigan Dollar. The exclusive powers of the federal government help the nation operate as a unified whole.Concurrent powers are powers that are shared by both the State and the federal government. These powers may be exercised simultaneously within the same territory and in relation to the same body of citizens. These concurrent powers including regulating elections, taxing, borrowing money and establishing courts.

How did Judaism survive even though Jewish people were separated, spread out, enslaved and the temple destroyed?

I would have to say because Judaism was why these people lived and even though they were separated they were still able to remember the things they were taught and so they taught their children who taught their children and so forth which allowed Judaism to survive, though no one believed it would.
