If i were a US civilian living during World War II, the rationing of materials to support the war effort would be the government action that would have influenced my everyday life the most. The correct option in regards to the given question is option "D". Rationing of materials would definitely create a shortage of regularly needed materials in the market. This shortage can always lead to a higher rate for buying those restricted materials and thus my income could seem less than before as the cost of buying gets increased.
