Which line represents the Oregon Trail? What was one geographical factor that attracted settlers to the Oregon Country? A. Line
Keith_Richards [23]

Answer:

A or B

Explanation:

I can't see the lines that your question mentions but the rich farmland is what attracted settlers to Oregon. The gold rush was in California, and the only huge thing that was discovered in 1849 (option D) is the gold rush, no mention of an oil boom.

What did the Aztec demand from cities they conquered?
Nimfa-mama [501]

The correct answers are:

a. tribute, or payment;

c. conversion to their religion;

Once a city was conquered by the Aztecs they were immediately setting up their own rules and conditions in order that they keep the city in control, and also that they can benefit from it.

The Aztecs demanded tribute, promise that the people of the city will obey their ruler, and also that they accept and worship their gods. This can be seen from two aspects, one was advantageous in the sense that the Aztecs were able to keep in order the cities and have it their way, and the disadvantageous  in the sense that pretty much none of the cities actually liked them, in fact they despised them, which led to a lack of unity in their empire.

The correct answer is - The government had not followed through with promises of help.

The conflict resulted because of treaty violations by the United States government, and also by late or unfair annuity payments by the Indian agents. Throughout the 1950's this led to starvation among the Dakota (Sioux) people, and they were very frustrated about it.

Officially, thee conflict started when few Dakota hunters killed few white settlers that were also hunting, and afterwards the Dakota decided that they should kick out the white settlers from their territory and it is estimated that they killed around 800 men, women, and children. The US government responded with military action, captured lot of Dakota warriors, and some of them executed by hanging.
