Data created by someone who was not present at an event, but read or heard about it is known as a <u>Secondary source of data</u>.

  • Let understand that Primary data means a data collected directly from an event and this includes data from newspapers, maps, speeches, interviews etc.

  • Secondary data are data collected by someone, other than the primary user and this includes Government publications, websites, journal etc.
