The Texas Constitution makes the governor a relatively weak executive; however, he maximizes influences with his tenure in offic
avanturin [10]

The correct answer is all of these choices are true.

  • The Texas Constitution contains a system of checks and balances to further balance authority.
  • Each branch of this system is capable of controlling or constraining the other two.
  • These controls aid in preventing one branch of the government from dominating others.
  • These controls and counter controls are modeled after those in the U.S. Constitution.
  • A line-item veto is available to the governor of Texas but not to the president.

Why is the Texas governor considered weak ?

  • Since his authority is thus constrained, the Texas governor is viewed as being weak.
  • The Texas governor essentially has the same amount of authority as the lieutenant governor and can simply veto measures.
  • Boards of bureaucracy can be appointed by the governor to increase the authority of his position.

How ads try to appeal our sentiments? Plz Explain
kiruha [24]

Answer:

Egos, Logos, and Pathos. These are Aristotle's three "modes for persuasion". In order to sell your product you have to hit all these "modes" to persuade the customer to buy.

Explanation:

Those are the things industries try to target. Egos refers to your ethics. It gives the audience the proof they need to know you actually know what you're talking about. Logos appeals to "logic". This one hits the logic of the person you are showing your ads to. If you have an illogical person looking at your product, then they won't see the benefits of the product and they won't see past the sales pitch. Finally, Pathos. Pathos means it is going for your emotions such as showing an ad for homeless or abused domestic pets.

Hope this helped, have a great day/night!
