I think and hope that this is the right answer to your question: The Atlantic slave trade WAS 1 OF THE MOST important examples of a forced human migration in history. While in the U.S. slavery was well-documented, so ONLY 10 % of the slaves that were imported from Africa came to the United States. The other 90 % were disbursed throughout the Americas. Nearly HALF went to Brazil alone.
