How can upwellings improve fishing for ocean fishermen?

pls help
iVinArrow [24]

Answer:Because the deep water brought to the surface is often rich in nutrients, coastal upwelling supports the growth of seaweed and plankton. These, in turn, provide food for fish, marine mammals, and birds. Upwelling generates some of the world's most fertile ecosystems.

Efficacy and safety of canagliflozin monotherapy in subjects with type 2 diabetes
MrMuchimi
Canagliflozin is a recently discovered drug that is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, by inhibiting SGLT2 transporters in kidneys that reabsorb glucose from the urine.
EFFICACY:
Cohort studies were made to compare canagliflozin to other molecules (glimepiride and sitagliptin) by evaluating the life quality, weight and HbA1c (glycated hemoglobin) for 52 weeks. it was found that canagliflozin has a better efficacity and a better effective cost ratio.

SIDE EFFECTS:
The most frequent side effects are constipation, thirstiness, nausea, and headache.
Due to its mechanism of action, a high glucosuria can be found also.
Severe complications can occur, like euglycemic ketoacidosis. This drug has a high amputation and risk (like other SGLT2 inhibitors) and a high fracture risk (due to the diminution of the mineralization of the bones).

What evidence supports the idea that ancestors of whales once lived on land?
lana66690 [7]

Answer:

The wolf-sized animals ran about on land 50 million years ago. Other newly found fossils add to the growing picture of how whales evolved from mammals that walked on land. They suggest that early whales used webbed hind legs to swim, and probably lived both on land and in the water about 47 million years ago
