Trachea is behind the esophagus. the esophagus is where our food goes once we swallow it. a trachea is the wind pipe, it's the pipe that helps us breathe. the trachea is where the air goes. if we inhale, air goes down the trachea into the lungs, when we exhale the carbon dioxide/air goes up the trachea and out of our body.
