Answer:

Hi your question lacks some vital figures but i think you are talking about a right angled triangle from the options you gave so i will explain how to get the height in general

Explanation:

using the SOHCAHTOA rule

O = opposite side to the given angle ( the height )

H = hypotenuse side ( longest side ) of the triangle

A = adjacent side of the triangle

S = sine of the angle given

C = cosine of the angle given

T = Tangent of the angle given

Ф = 80

from your options you have all the possible answers bearing TANGENT

tan Ф = opposite / adjacent

tan 80 = height / adjacent by cross multiplication

if adjacent = 12

answer would be height ( x ) = 12 tan80

if adjacent = 6

answer would be height ( x ) = 6 tan80

How does the tilt of Earth's axis affect how the sun's rays strike eachother?
victus00 [196]
The tilt of the Earths axis can affect where the Suns rays hit the Earth. If the northern hemisphere tilts slightly more than the southern hemisphere, the northern hemisphere is facing the sun more often, this is known as "Summer" for people in the north, and "Winter" for people in the south. Im not sure if that answered your question, but the suns rays bounce off the Earths surface and clouds and sometimes hit each other in our atmosphere.
