John Hancock did not actually have a major role in the Revolutionary war, partly because many people have found that his other roles precluded fighting (like when he was a president of the Massachusetts' Provincial Congress. His biggest Role in the war was non-military: he was the President of the Continental Congress.
People started learning how to use technology and motors, battery powered things... so back when the pony express was a thing people would use to get around, we didn't know what cars where so people started building structures using aerodynamics so use cars, trucks, and trains now a days
