I would say B, "The skunk's", because when someone writes apostrophe s, it is a form of showing possession, and the skunk's habit is a possession.
Also, it says "The raccoon's", so the writer must be talking about individual animals, so B would make sense.
Hope this helps :)

I profess, in the sincerity of my heart, that I have not the least personal interest in endeavouring to promote this necessary w
bearhunter [10]
I believe the correct answer is - According to Swift, he has “not the least personal interest in endeavouring to promote this necessary work.”
This sentence shows that he has no personal motive for making this proposal, especially given that his wife cannot have any more children, so the proposal doesn't affect him in the slightest. This means that he made the proposal for the sole purpose of helping others, not himself. The first and the last option are incorrect as they don't even use the quotations, and the third option doesn't show that he has no personal gain out of this.

Which organizational pattern should you use in your paragraph? A. evidence, assumption, assertion B. assumption, evidence, asser
docker41 [41]

The correct answer is:

C. Assertion, evidence, assumption

Assertion-Evidence, assumption is a type of writting pattern in  which a sentence headline states the main message of the writing (Assertion). The Assertion will be later supported with evidence, could be testimony, visually with pictures, or in any way you want to complement your paragraph. After this, you create an "Assumption" based on all the data you obtained.
