Distribute the 32 to the 4x and -2, so you have 128x-64-3x=5-(x+2), then you distribute the “-“ sign to x and 2 so on the right you have 5-x-2. All together you have 128x-64-3x=5-x-2. Combine like terms on both sides so you have 125x-64=-x+3. Add 64 to both sides so you got 125x=-x+67. Also add x on both sides, so your final equation is 126x=67. This doesn’t come out to an even number but it’s ok, your answer in decimal is about 0.532 rounded to the thousandths and if you want a fraction it’s simply 67/126. I’m sorry if this answer isn’t correct I did this in my head.
