Answer:

4-4x=12+16x

−4x+4=16x+12

−4+4−4=16+12−4

-4x=16x+8

-4x-16x=16x+8-16x

-20x=8

-20x/-20 = 8/-20

x= -2/5

Y = -6x + 19<br> -6x + 4y = 16
Fantom [35]

Answer:

the answer is 2

Step-by-step explanation:

y=-6x+19

-6x+4y=16

-6x+4(-6x+19)=16

-6x-24x+76=16

-30x+76=16

-30x=16-76

-30x=-60

if there is - in both side we should cut them

30x=60

x=60/30

x=2

.Calculate the average rate of change of f(x) = 3x + 4 on the interval [2, 6]. Select any oth
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

Average rate of change= 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Recall the definition of average rate of change of a function f(x) in an interval [a,b]:

Average rate of change = \frac{f(b)-f(a)}{b-a}

In your case:

f(x) = 3x+4, and the interval  [a,b] i  [2,6], therefore:

Average rate of change = \frac{f(6)-f(2)}{6-2}=\frac{f(6)-f(2)}{4}

Now we evaluate the function at the two requested points:

f(x)=3x+4\\f(6)=3(6)+4=18+4=22\\f(2)=3(2)+4=6+4=10, then f(6)-f(2)=22-10=12

So finally the Average rate of change is: \frac{f(6)-f(2)}{6-2}=\frac{12}{4} =3

When the area of a triangle is A = 26cm2
Rus_ich [418]

Answer:

6.5 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The area of a triangle is given by

A = 1/2 bh where b is the base and h is the height

26 = 1/2 (8) *h

26 = 4h

Divide each side by 4

26/4 = 4h/4

6.5 = h
