How does Shelley convey the idea that humans are constantly moving and changing? by personifying the moon by comparing humans to
nasty-shy [4]
The correct choice is clouds in this case, because those have the closest connotation in literature with change. The elements given have several connotations in literature. For example, darkness implies that something is unknown or it refers to a sense of being lost.  Pesonification is a means of adding emotion and differing points of view to a story. The moon and the night that are treated there have similar connotations to darkness; the moon can also be said to wane or be a full moon so it encompasses change. HOWEVER, the most obvious choice is that clouds mean change; they always drift along and they change, appearing and disappearing.

What does Kubic's Use of language reveal about the author's point of view toward Mao? Cite evidence from the text in your respon
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

<u>Explanation:</u>

We notice how the author chooses his language to showcase his viewpoint about the leadership of Mao. He said,<em> "If the project was outsized and over-ambitious, so  was its author." </em>Meaning, he viewed him as an over-ambitious leader.

Furthermore, the author referred to him as an<em> "advocate of violence..." </em>which shows he views him as an authoritarian and aggressive leader.

In conclusion, the author used a metaphor to show that even after his death, the mistake Moa made during his rule brought severe consequences years later. He said, <em>"The grapes of wrath planted by Mao’s blunders ripened in the spring of 1989..." </em>
