President Ronald Reagan's economic policies served to result in a drastic rise in economic inequality.  This was the result of tax cuts that favored the well to do and wealthy over the middle class and the poor.

I believe that the Monroe Doctrine should not be followed today. The Monroe Doctrine was a United States policy of opposing European colonialism in The Americas beginning in 1823. There is no need for that, for all people are created equal and we shouldn't be blocking them out. They have the right to come in unless they mean harm.
