Pluto and Neptune are known as the ice giants ?
antiseptic1488 [7]
Neptune is the eight planet from our Sun, one of the four gas giants, and one of the four outer planets in our Solar System. Since the "demotion" ofPluto by the IAU to the status of a dwarf planet – and/or Plutoid and Kuiper Belt Object (KBO) – Neptune is now considered to be the farthest planet in our Solar System.Sep 14,

What is the huge cloud sliding on the volcano called?
mixer [17]

Answer:

The huge sliding cloud on the volcano is called pyroclastic flow, also known as tephra.

Explanation:

The volcanoes, without exceptions, have eruptions. The eruptions differ though, and it is not just the stereotypical eruption with lava flows and gas propelled high into the atmosphere, but there are many other elements. While pretty much all of the elements of a volcanic eruption are dangerous, some more some less, the most dangerous one comes in the form of a sliding cloud.

This sliding cloud, coming down the sides of the volcano and continuing in the valley below it is known as pyroclastic flow or tephra. It is a very dense cloud of very hot gasses, and on top of it moves very fast, so there isn't escape from it really if someone is on its path. The pyroclastic flow has such a devastating effect that it literary manages to scorch and level down pretty much everything on its path, killing every living organism in the process as well.

estimating geoacoustic properties of sediments with a wide grain-size distribution using sediment organic content and the viscous grain shearing model

Interstitial organic matter (OM) is a common component of marine sediment and is frequently measured across a variety of fields.

It is especially common in sediments with high silt/clay fractions. OM hasn't been accounted for in sediment acoustics models despite the fact that it suspends silt and clay particles in the sediment matrix, adheres to mineral surfaces, and typically lives between mineral contacts, all of which are thought to affect geoacoustic characteristics.

Recent research on sediments from the Baltic Sea, Texas, seagrass-bearing sediments, and mud banks in Brazil has demonstrated that OM content (OC) corresponds strongly with sediment geoacoustic characteristics, including porosity and index of impedance.
