kicyunya [14]

Answer:

Symbolist: group of poets who used words to evoke impressions rather than express literal meaning.

Exoticism: a term describing sounds drawn from outside the traditional western European musical experience.

Impressionism: initially it was a pejorative term describing the paintings of Monet, Degas, and others.

Bolero: a slow, sultry Spanish dance in triple meter.

Explanation:

Symbolism was a literary and artistic movement that originated in France in the 19th century. The group of people that practiced symbolism were called symbolist and their aim was to express their emotions through symbols.

We can say that exoticism is the ''charm of the unfamiliar'' due to the fact that it was the interest in other cultures by Europeans. This interest was shown through eastern trade in the 16th and 17th century and though European colonialism. The European culture started to consume another type of culture in terms of music, literature and art.

Impressionism was a term to describe artists who rejected the official, government-sanctioned exhibitions, or salons, and for this reason they were rejected by prestigious academic art institutions. This kind of artist wanted to paint the impression that an object made in them. They use bright colors and have an unfinished appearance. Between their famous painters we have Monet, Degas, Manet, Matisse, etc.

Bolero is a typical Spanish dance characterized by the stamping of the feet, making sharp turns and sudden pauses while having one arm above the head. It can be dance in couples, groups or individually.
