Explanation:

Macbeth and Banquo come across the three witches in the heath near the battlefield in Act 1, Scene 3. Macbeth is told by the witches that he would become Thane of Cawdor and, eventually, King. They don't convince Macbeth. The Thane of Ross, however, enters and informs Macbeth that he is the Thane of Cawdor.

Banquo is murdered, and he dies encouraging his son to leave and revenge his death. One of the killers extinguishes the torch, and Fleance flees into the darkness. The killers flee with Banquo's body, intending to find Macbeth and inform him of the situation.

HELP PLEASE (BRAINIEST and 50 points)
ladessa [460]
Okay so
passage 1: Passage one has a mostly positive tone. Allow me to explain. The words used can set a peaceful, calm mood and allow you to paint a beautiful picture in your mind. Words such as bobbed, lapped and quaint suggest calm movements and an enjoyable environment. However Passage 2 is mostly negative in tone. This scene, unlike passage 1 sets a miserable, dark mood, and seems like an unlikely place to be comfortable in. Words such as ragged, frigid, slapped and weathered suggests a worn raft, cold waters, and miserable conditions, perhaps life threatening. Therefore, it is negative in tone. To sum up everything previously stated, passage 1 has a mostly positive tone, whereas passage 2 is mostly negative.

hope that helped :]
