The Classical Period of music ranges between 1730 and 1820. During this time, music was made of clear harmonies and melodies. The preferred instrument was the piano, although many songs were often accompanied by other instruments like the violin, or the counter-bass. Songs were designed to be listened to, and not for dancing, as the rhythm was specifically created for this purpose.
