Since poetry is focused on relaying experience in a highly salient way, there is great potential for it to be utilized as a means to build empathy and bridge gaps of understanding between people who come from differing backgrounds. In this way poetry can be a vehicle for messages of social justice.

The oval office_____ in the white house, is the office of the president of the United States. (a) was situated (b) is situated (
S_A_V [24]

Answer:

B, "is situated"

Explanation:

Process of elimination:

A: The Oval Office is in the White House today, so the sentence should not be in the past tense.

C: This is not grammatically correct. The sentence needs a verb of a tense of "to be" like "is" or "was".

D: This is not grammatically correct. The sentence needs a verb of a tense of "to be" like "is" or "was". Also, since the Oval Office is singular, the word would be situates instead of situate anyway.
