Answer:

Because of a lack of physical and emotional connection, Alicia and Jordan's marriage is tense. Alicia begins to suffer a disease three months after their wedding, leaving her bedridden and fragile. Jordan discovers that a critter in her feather pillow has been sucking her blood after Alicia passes away.

The repressive family, which limited the couple's love for one other and sucked the life out of Alicia spiritually and mentally, was the primary reason of Alicia's death. Jordan's lack of emotion left her romantically empty, while the parasite's blood-sucking tendencies left her physically tired.

Alicia's character embodied the concept of emptiness both metaphorically and physically. Internal emptiness will be matched by external emptiness, according to Quiroga; the existence of one will bring about the presence of the other.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!<br> Why do good people do bad things sometimes?
Ainat [17]

Explanation:

Obedience to authority. It's quite difficult for most people to ignore the wishes of those in authority positions. People also feel like they're less responsible for wrongdoings if they act under the direction of someone else. Both of these reasons explain why employees are likely to act out the unethical wishes of their supervisors--and feel far less guilt than if they had decided to do it themselves.
