  1. Plagiarism is where you copy information off of another person withing crediting them and not citing the source. To avoid plagiarism, you need to do the following:
  • Cite the source
  • Credit the person
  • Put quotes around your statement.

It can help you because it doesn't make you a cheater and makes it look like you just copied and pasted it.
