Juli2301 [7.4K]

Answer:

Semantics.

Explanation:

Semantics cares about the meaning of a word or a sentence. In this case, Altman is equating a genre's visual conventions with sentence's semantics. The effect might be the same: To use different combinations of words or drawings to achieve the desired effect. As Altman says: just as we know that some words don't logically work together, we also sense that a menacing castle doesn't fit in the Western. The example he uses means to find meaning in something that should not be there.

Answer:

See explanation for answer.

Explanation:

Photography, one of the most commonly used things and skills we use in the world today all started in the year 1839. Photography was introduced t the public pretty quickly and they all started using it, of course not thinking about how to use it they were still very excited to use it. Meanwhile, photographers spent days, months trying to learn the true art of it. According to multiple sites, back in the day the really early photographs weren't on paper but were actually on incredibly thin sheets of metal and glass. The actual image they coated with a form of iodide or copper. However, not just any copper but silver-plated copper.

I hope this helps!

Have a great day!
