6 0

Answer:

QM = 7 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Tangents to a circle from an external point are congruent.

The perimeter (P) is the sum of the sides of the triangle, that is

PL + LQ + QM + MR + RN + NP = 42

6 + LQ + QM + 8 + 8 + 6 = 42

LQ + QM + 28 = 42 ( subtract 28 from both sides )

LQ + QM = 14

Since LQ = QM , then

QM = 7

Evaluate the expression. 0.1×( – 0.9+ – 0.2÷ – 0.5) Write your answer as an integer or a decimal. Do not round.
matrenka [14]

Answer:

-0.05

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the expression :

0.1×( – 0.9+ – 0.2÷ – 0.5)

Evaluating the bracket :

0.1 * (-0.9 - 0.2 ÷ - 0.5)

Solving the division first

-0.2 ÷ - 0.5 = 0.4

Now we have ;

0.1 * (-0.9 + 0.4)

0.1 * - 0.5

= - 0.05

What is the smallest degree of rotation that will map a regular 18 gon on to itself
natali 33 [55]

Answer:

The height, h, of the equilateral triangle is given by h =5cotΘ, where Θ is 30 degrees. Can someone help me with this? I don't u
Hoochie [10]

You don't even need the picture to solve this one.

You said that      h = 5 cot(Θ) ,    and you said that  Θ  is 30 degrees.
All you need now is to find the cotangent of Θ, plop that into the equation,
and the solution practically jumps off the paper into your lap.

To find the cotangent of 30 degrees, you can use a calculator, look it up
in a book, read it off of a slide rule if you have one, draw a picture of a
30-60-90 right triangle etc. You'll find that the cotangent of 30 degrees
is  √3 .  That's about 1.732 .

So your equation is    h = 5 (1.732)  =  8.66  (rounded)

Apparently, somebody gave you the equation, and asked you to find 'h'.
Once you had the equation, you didn't even need to know that 'h' has
anything to do with a triangle.

Will yall help me pleaseee! I need this turned in today donttake my points :'( this is Pythagorean Math !!!!
LenaWriter [7]

Answer:

1. 7.6 = c

2. 45 = c

Step-by-step explanation:

1. 3^2 + 7^2 = c^2

9 + 49 = c^2

58 = c^2

square root both sides = 7.6 = c

2. 27^2 + 36^2 = c^2

729 + 1296 = c^2

2025 = c^2

square root both sides

c = 45
