Do you think John Gardner's perspective on Beowulfmakes Grendel seem more sympathetic or more monstrous?John Gardner’s perspecti

ve of Grendel makes him seem more sympathetic. From Grendel's perspective he is not a flat character, he has feelings just like everyone else. We were able to see that he is very similar to the other humans. He has emotions, and thinks just like the humans who think he is an unthinkable monster. We found out that Grendel thinks of the people the same as they think as him. From Beowulf's perspective Grendel was a flat character, with no emotion, no thoughts, no reasons, just a big ugly killing ogre. In Grendel's perspective we found that was not true. He had reasons for killing, he felt lonely at times, angry, sad, and he even felt like the good person because he thought the humans were the bad guys.

HELP ASAP!! DUE TOMORROW!! WILL MARK AS BRAINLIEST IF ANSWERED NOW!!
Andrej [43]
Your paper so far doesn't sound like a interview essay. But i'll do my best.

<span>You are glued to the TV watching all 13 episodes. (you should start with a question.) You (might ) have sat in your room for 24+ hours straight (trying) to finish all of the episodes. When you(r) finish(ed), you start to think about all of these questions. What will Hannah’s parents do when they receive/listen to the tapes? Will Bryce go to jail after raping Hannah and Jessica? And you hope for a second season so your questions will be answered.

(make this your first paragraph or earlier. because not everyone knows the show) 13 Reasons Why is a Netflix show that revolves around a 17-year-old high school student, Hannah Baker. She takes her own life and leaves behind 13 tape recordings containing the 13 (delete the 13) reasons why she killed herself. (try: The story follows Clay Jensen who is listening to the taps in present day, and Hannah baker and what happened. As the series goes on story opens up more to Hannah's decision) It follows a teenager, Clay Jensen, in his quest to uncover the story behind his friend and crush, Hannah Baker, and her decision to end her life.

(is this your thought?) “I think that Hannah’s parents will cry when they receive the tapes because they didn’t know what was going on so they weren't able to help her” one person said. (tell us why) Hannah’s parents were not really in her life. Her parents weren’t home half of the time and when they were they would fight over the bills and money issues. In the show, Hannah was at home with her parents and she told them and they needed to move because of the way Hannah was feeling from everyone at her school. 13 Reasons(.) Why is (it) so popular(?) (mostly) because most students agree that it is based on real-life events. (you could use some more facts, and questions.)

Even in moments of weakness, we are still responsible for our actions. Do you agree with this statement? Explain you perspective
statuscvo [17]

Answer:

Yes, I do agree with this. I know from experience myself. I've done some bad things and at that moment I blamed it on the people I was hanging around or other things, but looking back I realize that I am in control of my own body, no body else. No body made me make the decision I did, it was all me. And in times of weakness is when we are most vulnerable to make these bad decisions. This can occur when drinking and smoking, or simple hanging out with friends. Studies have shown that people think different and act different when drinking, drugs, or peer pressure is involved. For example, normally I wouldn't smoke, but if I am with my friends and they are, then yes most likely I will too. I was in a time of weakness, but as humans we have to learn to say no sometimes.

What is a theme in the poem "In Spite of War"?
Usimov [2.4K]

Answer:

Life goes on despite terrible occurrences.

Explanation:

"In Spite of War" is a poem written by<em> Angela Morgan</em>. It shows the readers that life goes on even after terrible happenings around the world, such as earthquakes or war. Many people die every time, but<u><em> life continues</em></u>. She depicted life by emphasizing the <em>"blooming of the flowers."</em> In order for people to enjoy the life that they're living, in whatever era or situation, they should<em> look at its brighter side and be grateful.</em> Doing this can give them a <em>hope</em> to<u><em> continue living</em></u>.
