I am a citizen in your town, my name is Reena Seth of New Delhi. I am writing to you to tell you about your parking facility at the connaug palace area. It is absolutely upsetting when I park in this area or try to. There's not enough room between vehicles to properly get in and out and where there spaces to park it is not adequate size for vehicles. I Surely hope you can address this problem at your next council meeting. Thank you for your understanding commissioner of police and traffic. If you have any further questions or comment's. In the passage "Everyman", what does the passage imply about cousin?
Evgen [1.6K]

The correct answer is C, as Cousin is making excuses to avoid accompanying Everyman.

Everyman calls Kindred and Cousin and asks them to go with him on their journey to God, but both refuse to do so. Cousin explains a fundamental reason why nobody will join Everyman: people also have their own accounts to write, their own lives to develop.

While his reasons are true, in the story they work as an excuse of why he does not accompany Everyman.

He looked like a man cut away from the stake, when the fire has overrunningly wasted all the limbs without consuming them, or ta
Anna35 [415]

Answer:

B

Explanation:

The narrator talks about how the fire wasting a man that was tied to a stake. Assuming that the fire is symbolic for fate, it makes sense for this passage to describe parraylissis. Especially when looking in the context of the last sentence, describing the man as a "unalterable mold" "made of solid bronze" someone who is unaltered is unable to move, and solid bronze is unmovable by human hands after a certain amount is gathered. I was debating between A and D though, so I'll tell you why I didn't pick D. d refers to nature and mans lack of ability to change it, however where nature is involved in the passage (fire) the man doesn't try to shape or change it, it changes the man.
