In at least 100 words, describe a coming-of-age story that you have read and explain why it can be described in those terms.
Igoryamba
I have read "The Things They Carried" by Tim O'Brien. This story is a fictional story about a young man who was drafted for the Vietnam war in his first years of college. This book describes the coming of age of multiple characters in its portrayal of each character individualistically. It shows how fast each of these young men had to grow up after joining the war and the difficulties they faced. It is easy to forget how young these guys are because of the things they say or the actions they must take. There are many moments in the book that make you stop and go "Hey wait. These are just kids," and it really shows the maturing process and the stresses of war in addition to suddenly being thrust into adulthood.

Arrange the following facts as if you were going to write an inverted pyramid style news story. Remember: an inverted pyramid li
Free_Kalibri [48]
The inverted pyramid is a metaphor used by journalists and other writers to illustrate how information should be prioritized and structured in a text (e.g., a news report). It is a common method for writing news stories (and has adaptability to other kinds of texts, e.g., blogs and editorial columns). This is the best way to understand the basics about a news report. It is widely taught to mass communication and journalism students, and is systematically used in Anglophone media. The "inverted" or upside-down "pyramid" can be thought of as a simple triangle with one side drawn horizontally at the top and the body pointing down. The widest part at the top represents the most substantial, interesting, and important information the writer means to convey, illustrating that this kind of material should head the article, while the tapering lower portion illustrates that other material should follow in order of diminishing importance.
