Explain how emigration impacts a country's sex ratio

Geography

Males immigrate to new countries/emigrate from their own countries more often than women because they come to seek work, often being physical. In the past women would stay while their husbands established a source of income and residence so their family could immigrate as well. Emigration impacts a country’s sex ration by creating a higher percentage of women compared to men, as men are emigrating at higher rates.

What are the 'States' of Jersey (Channel Islands)?.
rosijanka [135]

Answer:

Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands, between England and France. A self-governing dependency of the United Kingdom, with a mix of British and French cultures, it’s known for its beaches, cliffside walking trails, inland valleys and historic castles. The Jersey War Tunnels complex, in a former hospital excavated by slave labor, documents the island’s 5-year German occupation during WWII.
