WHY WAS AGRICULTURE AN INNOVATION?!!
Debora [2.8K]

Agriculture was an innovation because simply put, it gave the foundation for civilization. Without it, it would NOT be so easy as it is today to get food.

There were many positive outcomes of this innovation. One positive outcome is that agriculture really helps reduce poverty levels. Another positive outcome is that it provides employment opportunities for many people in rural areas. Obviously another positive outcome is that agriculture provides food to people everywhere.

Although there are many positive outcomes of agriculture, there are just as many negative outcomes. One negative outcome of agriculture is that it contributes to habitat loss. To open areas for agriculture, woods, jungles, and so many other biomes are just demolished. Agriculture also uses a LOT of water, so much so that it comes to the point of being wasteful. Agriculture also contributes to soil erosion.

How were the civil war amendments enforced in the decades after they were past?
Pepsi [2]

After the Civil War a period called the Reconstruction began. The goal of this period was among others enabling the African-American citizens their hard-won civil rights and getting the rebellious states back to the Union. To enforce the amendments and to ensure that the new elections could be done and in which African-Americans would also vote, the US government put the former Confederate states under the rule of the US Army. It also temporarily denied vote to the former Confederate officials and forbade them to run in the elections.
