<u>Write a letter to the minister  Mineral Resource  on "The dangers of polluting water bodies as a result of galamsey activities.</u>

                                                                       The Chairman,

                                                                       Blessed Road,

                                                                       Mumbai, India.

Federal Ministry of Health and Mineral Resources,

Government House,

Mumbai, India.

<u>The dangers of polluting water bodies as a  result of galamsey activities."</u>

Dear Sir,

How are you faring, sir? Trust you are doing great? We are happy about the recent improvement regarding the state of affairs in the country since you mount the position as the minister. We encourage you to keep up the good work sir.

We would like to express our thought concerning the recent galamsey activities in the country. There are possibilities of the water getting polluted as a result. The rate of usage of the water in the community is increasing daily and it is important we keep it safe for usage.

Some of the dangers caused by illegal mining include significant environmental pollution; the chemical used and the waste heaps are a source of long-term contamination of soil and water bodies.

We hereby solicit your help and support in fighting against this illegal mining because it is important for the safety of the community and the society at large.

Yours Faithfully,

Chairman.

AnnZ [28]

Buck is a Saint Bernard Shepherd dog living the good life. He lives in Santa Clara Valley with his owner, Judge Miller. He is a domesticated dog until he is stolen and sent to Alaska where strong sled dogs are in demand. Buck undergoes a series of adventures where he must shed his pampered doggy past and learn what it means to be wild. Buck must find his inner-wolf through many trials and tribulations.

Buck - the protagonist, part Saint Bernard and part Scottish Shepherd. At first, Buck is a pampered dog living in the Santa Clara Valley in California. As the story progresses, Buck changes as he is forced to work as a sled dog in the harsh conditions of the Yukon.

The story's climax occurs when John Thorton rescues Buck and a true bond is re-established between Buck and a human. As for a solution or resolution, this occurs when John Thorton is killed, and Buck no longer has any emotional ties..... he is then free to return to the wild.

Elina [12.6K]

Answer:

Under fire can mean many things.  Usually though, in the sense of a soldier, he is in combat and is being fired upon.

Explanation:

Getting shot at.  Under fire.

Do not confuse this with being under fire as being in trouble with someone.  Remember to take this from the perspective of the soldier in combat.
