Cortazar relates the story of two siblings finding intruders in their house and deciding to leave the taken areas to them, as they keep taking more and more rooms. The characters, despite the horrible situation, remain calm and talk as if it wasn´t such a big deal.

The nest hit one branch on the way down, as Katniss was in a tree, causing her to get stung once or twice. But the nest served its purpose, causing havoc and scattering the Careers and killing two other tributes in the process.
