$\frac{2x}{2}=\frac{-15}{2}$

$x=-\frac{15}{2}$

16) x/3-7=11

x/3=11+7

x/3=18

x=18*3

x=54

17) $\frac{9x}{4}=-9$

$\frac{4\cdot \:9x}{4}=4\left(-9\right)$

$9x=-36$

$\frac{9x}{9}=\frac{-36}{9}$

$x=-4$
