I think the internet drives people together. I think this because with the internet, people could communicate with each other through calling apps such as FaceTime and zoom. Another reason includes people becoming more social. People could become more social by by communicating with other through texting to get to know more about each other. This would eventually cause them to build up self-confidence and build up the courage to talk to people they don’t know.

How many phonemes do english speakers use to producs words?
NeTakaya
A phoneme<span> (</span><span>/<span>ˈfoʊniːm</span>/</span><span>) is one of the units of sound (or gesture in the case of sign languages, see </span>chereme<span>) that distinguish one word from another in a particular language. For example, in most dialects of English, the sound patterns </span><span>/<span>θʌm</span>/</span><span> (</span>thumb<span>) and </span><span>/<span>dʌm</span>/</span><span> (</span>dumb<span>) are two separate words distinguished by the substitution of one phoneme, </span>/θ/<span>, for another phoneme, </span>/d/<span>. (Two words like this that differ in meaning through a contrast of a single phoneme form what is called a </span>minimal pair<span>). In many other languages these would be interpreted as exactly the same set of phonemes (i.e. </span>/θ/<span> and </span>/d/<span> would be considered the same).</span>

How did Abraham Lincoln's speeches help serve his goals as a wartime statesman?
gladu [14]

The stated purpose of Lincoln's speech was to dedicate a plot of land that would become Soldier's National Cemetery. However, Lincoln realized that he also had to inspire the people to continue the fight. Below is the text of the Gettysburg Address, interspersed with my thoughts on what made it so memorable
