A way in that the outcome of the second world war in Asia lead to political change in Asian states was that the World War II set free the countries and peoples of Asia and brought about their them to independence.

An example of an Asian nationalist movement that was said to have used nonviolence to gain independence is the Indian independence movement. In the course of advocating for their independence, the India's independentist movement did started a nonviolent positions which they use to demand Indian independence from Great Britain. They only engage in strikes, peaceful protests and huge demonstrations without the use of weapons.

The Cold War was said to have lead to the decolonization of British Empire and brought about a lot  of nationalist movement in Asia. India due this war's influenced, gained her independence in 1947.

The process of decolonization of Asia was known to be a slow growth of independence movements in Asia.
