Answer:

“I had never been so truly free in my life”, stated that he had been more free than even when he wasn’t in prison. Because he was in African American, he really didn’t have that much freedom. In prison, however, he wasn’t discriminated. Also the fact that he wasn’t taking advantage at school, he could have been much smarter and not chosen a life of crime. But with that dictionary, that disadvantage is an advantage.

Jerry, a cheerful trombone player, sat down in music class when his teacher noticed his trombone was missing. He fell into a slump the rest of the day. On his way back home his bus driver mentioned there was a lost and found he could go to, but would have to wait til tomorrow. The next day he went with his dad but he had no luck, until he saw his music teacher holding his one and only trombone. The weight on Jerry's shoulders had been released.

Which type of story is an Allegory? *
abruzzese [7]

Answer:

an allegory is a story, poem, or picture, it’s used to reveal a hidden meaning or message, like the moral. Allegories are exciting because they use characters and events to convey a meaning. They don’t just come right out and say it.

Explanation:

Follow these steps to spot allegory in literature. Look for a didactic theme or moral tone in the work. Allegory is often used as an embodiment for moral qualities and messages as in Aesop's Fables. The story itself is constructed in such a way as to convey a central theme or lesson.

How is the theme of growing up explored in Night by Elie Weisel?
Ber [7]

I've never read it. But heres what I found on the internet for it.

Wiesel had to grow up quickly, struggling to understand himself, his situation and his religion, the very faith that thrust him into the middle of the Holocaust. Night explores how the loss of family and identity can lead to questioning of faith, and how horrific situations can push children into adulthood.
