Answer:

“I had never been so truly free in my life”, stated that he had been more free than even when he wasn’t in prison. Because he was in African American, he really didn’t have that much freedom. In prison, however, he wasn’t discriminated. Also the fact that he wasn’t taking advantage at school, he could have been much smarter and not chosen a life of crime. But with that dictionary, that disadvantage is an advantage.

Jerry, a cheerful trombone player, sat down in music class when his teacher noticed his trombone was missing. He fell into a slump the rest of the day. On his way back home his bus driver mentioned there was a lost and found he could go to, but would have to wait til tomorrow. The next day he went with his dad but he had no luck, until he saw his music teacher holding his one and only trombone. The weight on Jerry's shoulders had been released.

Please summarize Franklin Roosevelt's speech "quarantine" and explain what he was trying to persuade the people to do. Please he
RideAnS [48]

President Delano Roosevelt’s “Quarantine” speech was a speech he gave that indicated a desired shift from the United States policy of isolationism to a somewhat passive policy of interfering—ignoring or quarantining aggressor nations.  In his speech he proposed that peaceful nations band together to quarantine aggressive nations in an effort to reduce their impact on the peaceful world.  He felt that by rejecting aggression, it could be eliminated.  His speech argued for support of this effort by making the point that because all nations depended on each other, they simply couldn’t do nothing about aggression, and this was a non-violent manner in which to counter aggressive nations.

The correct answer would be a. Radio talk shows are usually more casual in hopes of being more appealing to listeners. Also, process of elimination would work well here because no station would ever use a casual tone of voice on horrific events such a natural disaster or war.
