Basically artist can use whatever kind of symbol. I sort of thinks they all are answer because artists could create a series of characters to create a meaning or they can make a picture that stants for something. They basically draw what means most to them as their symbol most of the time.
I’d say without context this is an opinion but Um I’ll give it a go, I’d say the issue with small art is that it sells quicker from the lower prices so you’d have to constantly be making art, and there would be a lot of very small and delicate details, so it might take longer and would use much more of your attention.
They believed that their gods looked and acted like them because of the greek myths. After hearing them, they got an idea of how they looked. They also felt that they looked like the gods because they believed that the gods had only on design to make them after - themselves.
