For the basis of a society, all basic needs and Human Rights must be met. A happy society is a safe, strong society. The truth is that anything is only as strong as the weakest link. The weak links will be open targets for all the false promises, foreign enemies and self interest. Also, Borders are a must for organization, services, knowing how much is needed for a society to be a success.

Of course there is a lot more including clear just laws, Military & other protections. But wherever there is a weakness, (including poverty, corruption, over emphasis on profits and the insanity of infinite growth) there will be an opening for destruction.
