Write a story that ends with the statement:then I realized it was too late to cry
PolarNik [594]
The day of the funeral arrived and there I was standing before the grave stone. It read ‘MARY ROBERT WILSON’. There were lots of people here and I felt uncomfortable. I was only five years old when she died. Back then, nothing made sense. All I remembered was people dressed in black with their heads down and no sound apart from the rushing wind. The woman, Mary, was my mother. It was so long ago, and I was so young that I didn’t know how to react. I just stood there holding on to my fathers hand smiling not knowing that I would never see my mum again. Not knowing that my life was about to change and there was nothing I could about. 10 years later I recall the moment of her death, of her grave and only now... I realised it was too late to cry.

Review the narrative "snake story" and answer the question below: what clues does the author give that the snake is not a real t
Serggg [28]

In particular, "snake story" Becky would not find the following to be a real treat:

She said proudly, "Not poisonous. She took back the book and walked over to her closet, saying, "It's an oak snake, Louie." Although not poisonous, I still won't take any chances.

This made it obvious that the snake was not dangerous and helped to explain it. However, we do recognize that the snake may have been; however, there was one indication from her little snake book that somehow this snake was not.

We must keep in mind that while Becky dealt with reptiles, she was more afraid of snakes in this situation. She wouldn't take any risks at all because of this. This would be an example of a snake that was not dangerous in any case.

Write a rhetorical paragraph on the Declaration of Independence. Be sure that one of your paragraphs analyzes the logic and reas
saul85 [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

Aristotle's "modes for persuasion" - otherwise known as rhetorical appeals - are known by the names of ethos, pathos, and logos. They are means of persuading others to believe a particular point of view. They are often used in speech writing and advertising to sway the audience.

Meaning of Ethos, Logos, and Pathos

Aristotle used these three terms to explain how rhetoric works:

"Of the modes of persuasion furnished by the spoken word there are three kinds. The first kind depends on the personal character of the speaker [ethos]; the second on putting the audience into a certain frame of mind [pathos]; the third on the proof, or apparent proof, provided by the words of the speech itself [logos]. Persuasion is achieved by the speaker's personal character when the speech is so spoken as to make us think him credible."

Ethos (sometimes called an appeal to ethics), then, is used as a means of convincing an audience via the authority or credibility of the persuader, be it a notable or experienced figure in the field or even a popular celebrity.

Pathos (appeal to emotion) is a way of convincing an audience of an argument by creating an emotional response to an impassioned plea or a convincing story.

Logos (appeal to logic) is a way of persuading an audience with reason, using facts and figures.
