Answer:

y=1/2x-1 1/2

Explanation:

x = 5 y = 1. to get to 0 on the x side you minus 5. but to get to the unknown number on the y side you get to minus the half of five which is 2.5. 1-2.5 =-1.5

-1.5 is the y intercept which is b in the equation.

justification:

y=1/2x-1.5

1=1/2•5-1.5 which is a true math sentence.
