In 1877, Billy moved to Lincoln (New Mexico), where he was employed as a cowboy in the ranch of John Tunstall, a rancher and English businessman and his partner Alexander McSween, a well-known lawyer.

In this context, the so-called War of Lincoln County occurs, where following conflicts between Tunstall and McSween with another local businessman named LG Murphy (who was a member of the Ring of Santa Fe, powerful group formed by politicians, judges , businessmen, cattle ranchers and military men who controlled the territory of New Mexico with mafia methods). Tunstall had allied with John Chisum, also an important rancher, to face the Ring. The Ring hired Sheriff William Brady who with his assistants killed Tunstall in an ambush. The murdered rancher had been considered a new father by Billy, who along with workers and friends obtained arrest warrants, granted by Judge Wilson de Santa Fe, against the murderers of Tunstall, forming a persecution group that was known to Los Regulators These orders were later annulled by the district judge who was a supporter of Murphy, leaving the group in an illegal situation.

Billy killed Sheriff Brady and his assistant on Lincoln's main street, fleeing to Texas.

The last step in the Supreme Court's decision making process is the majority voting process. How has the Supreme Court been stru
sammy [17]

Answer:

B.

Explanation:

The Supreme Court of the United States comprises of total number of nine Justices. One is the Chief Justice, remaining eight are associate Justices. The Justices, in the US Supreme Court are nominated by the President and after they are found to be eligible the Senates approve them. The Justices serve in the office for their lifetime.

To limit the number of decisions not reaching a majority rule, the Court is structured with odd number of Justices. Having an odd number of Justices in the court obliterate the possibility of having even number of votes which may hinder in reaching the conclusion of a case.

Therefore, the correct answer is option B.

To what extend did the republic recover after 1923 under stressmann
MrRa [10]

Answer:

Stresemann was a politician of the Weimar republic after Ebert. When Stresemann came into power, Germany was still under the influence of the effects of the treaty of Versailles. Germany was in economic peril, owing 6600 million pounds to the victors of the First World War, militarily crippled as the armed forces were reduced to only 100,000 men and no battleships, no armored vehicles and no aircraft or submarines as well as no troops in the Rhineland. The war guilt clause, article 231, also left Germany hating the allies and the treaty of Versailles as they thought it was unfair. Stresemann entered Germany when it was in a state of peril, however, one could argue that his successes outweighed his limitations and he was very significant in the recovery of Germany after 1923 until his death in 1929.

hope this helps
