Answer:

Figurative language plays a major role in compelling literary works. Figurative language is a contrast to literal language. Its primary purpose is to force readers to imagine or intuit what an author means with an expression or statement. Figurative language can affect the mood of a short story. The term mood refers to the atmosphere that envelopes the reader and evokes certain feelings. Figurative language is used to draw the reader into the story quickly.

Allison has decided to change her research question. Which revision would be most appropriate for Allison to make to her researc
dimulka [17.4K]

Answer:

look for sources of information that help answer the new question

Explanation:

If Allison decides to completely modify her research question, the sources and references that she used for the original question will not necessarily be useful for answering the new question.

She needs to look for new sources that give her information about the updated question and be open to the possibility of not needing any of the sources cited in the original draft.

"Right to work" laws were designed to destroy unions, and keep workers from having a voice, any bargaining power. Thereby lowering the average wage of most workers in those states compared to states without "right to work" (for less money) laws. Unions built this country, unions gave us the 5 day week (instead of 6), unions gave us the 8 hour day (instead of 12), unions gave us heat and air conditioning in the work places and many more working conditions. Many people fought and died so that we can live the good life today. Without unions America would have been another monarchy or aristocracy long ago.</span>
