I think that I would think they are overreacting. I would think they were going just a bit crazy because we were raising the price of tea. I really do think that we should submit and let the colonists have more representation in parliament, after all, it would be fair. That would probably stop them from revolting and keep the British Empire a Global Superpower. <span />

The answer is, D<span>uring the nineteenth century, it was perceived to be undignified for a president to campaign on his own behalf.
Basically, people don't like candidates to campaign for themselves on the things that they have done. Especially in publications where they would want to post for elections which is a selfish act in view of the people especially for a running President. They usually give small speeches in a dignified way.

England concerned itself with quantity products it exported out of the country in comparison to the countries they traded with. England did not want to be left behind and be overcome by other countries especially those in Asia. They did not export much so artists and merchants started creating and inventing goods that enabled them to compete with the Asian market.
They avoided copying Asian products by imitating products form countries like France, Holland, Switzerland and Spain (which also traded with Asia) and used techniques that were proven successful methods used by these countries for a superior output.
