From a young age we are taught what is pretty, and what is "not". And there is always adult influence who will complain abt themselves, getting it into your mind that that's bad. then when we see peers, we are insecure abt ourselves, and are quick to judge them. just to bring ourselves up. the solution would to be more accepting of everyone, and to abolish body standards.
